來自金屬王朝德意志，亡靈軍團Dark Fortress挾以陰森氛圍塑造出一首首冰冷詭譎的邪惡之作，
毫無畏懼主流市場沉重壓力且決不向商業靠攏的曲式理念，
不但建立起一票死忠信徒，成為當代黑金屬全新指標，
並贏得金屬名廠欽點邀約，把黑暗的絕望思想大舉推向人間！
由Asvargr(吉他)、Azathoth(主唱)與Njord(貝斯)三人在1994年時，
共同打造的死亡堡壘Dark Fortress憑藉撒旦的兇殘本質吸引到一票死忠樂迷，
自製Demo和Split讓樂團名聲迅速在地下黑金屬圈中蔓延開。
在加入Charon(鼓)、Crom(吉他)與Thamuz(鍵盤)等團員後的Dark Fortress，
於獨立廠牌Red Stream陸續發表「Tales from Eternal Dusk(2001)」、
「Profane Genocidal Creations(2003)」兩張作品，
不但得到雜誌樂評的讚譽，
對於極端金屬信徒來說更是愛不釋手！
2004年樂團轉入Black Attakk旗下，
請來Travis Smith(Trivium)負責第三張專輯「Stab Wounds」的封面及內頁藝術設計，
將其獨特黑闇氣勢透過視覺與聽覺完美呈現。
雖然成軍10多年間團員更動速度頗為頻繁，
卻無損Dark Fortress的實力，
依舊保有超高度毀滅能量；
2006年除元老Asvargr(吉他)與Azathoth(主唱)外，
換上V. Santura(吉他)、Draug(貝斯)、Paymon(鍵盤)以及Seraph(鼓)的全新陣容，
推出加盟Century Media第四張專輯「Seance」。

感想
Dark Fortress，
來自德意志王國的旋律死黑金團，
對於所有一切聖潔的事物皆不屑一顧，
他們用他們的音樂，
踐踏這個世界。
旋律死金團很常見到，
但是旋律黑金團，
並不是那麼常見，
因為黑金通常所想要帶給人的壓迫感，
旋律性太高的音樂，
會造成壓迫感不足，
所以這樣的樂風，
在金屬界其實並不常見，
那要玩的好的，
那更是少數，
但是Dark Fortress，
卻是Johnson很欽佩的一個樂團。
在強大的旋律性架構之下，
那種黑暗的壓迫感，
卻並沒有因為高旋律性而消失，
反而因為高旋律性而增加了那種壓迫感，
因為傳統的黑金，
速度都比較緩慢，
而且用那種緩慢的速度，
加上沉重的鼓聲及BASS聲來造就那種壓迫，
所以黑金會讓聽不習慣的人，
有一種非常不舒服的感覺，
但是旋律黑金，
雖然壓迫感依舊，
但是並不會讓一剛開始接觸的人，
感覺到很強大的不舒服，
對於想要接觸黑金但卻又因傳統黑金讓你卻步的人，
旋律黑金是一個很好的選擇。
DARK FORTRESS這個團，
身處在金屬王國的德國，
德國的名團多到不勝枚舉，
如Gamma Ray, Primel Fear等，
多為力金即速金團，
在這樣的金屬國度裡，
DARK FORTRESS成功的將黑金以一種不同的形式，
展現在大家的面前，
也將黑金推向另外一種境界，
DARK FORTRESS主唱的聲音，
其實並不像其他的黑團，
讓人有那麼重的壓迫感，
但他卻多了一些些的恐懼感，
雙吉他的搭配，
在旋律性的搭配上，
相輔相成，
並沒有任何的衝突性出現，
黑團中，
很重要的keyboard手，
在樂團中，
表現的較為突出，
在高旋律性的音樂裡，
很巧妙的運用keyboard的效果，
來造就強烈的恐懼及壓迫。
DARK FORTRESS，

那麼你一定會知道這個團，
如果你剛開始想要接觸黑團，
