Rev Theory(舊名Revelation Theory)是一個成立於2002年的美國搖滾樂團，
第一張專輯Truth Is Currency發行於2005年，
至今發行了三張專輯，分別於2008年及2011年。




Rev Theory的歌曲Voices同時也是WWE SUPERSTAR Randy Orton的出場音樂。

感想

Rev Theory，
一支來自美國的另類金屬樂團，
搭配世界熱門娛樂賽事WWE，
讓他們聲名大噪。




Alternative metal是一個以另類搖滾為基礎混入其他樂風，
形成的一種新金屬樂，
流行於在20世紀90年代初。
最值得注意的是，
另類金屬樂隊的特點是不尋常的拍值和一些不常用的技巧，
重型音樂沉重的結他即興，
和傳統金屬樂相較之下，
較少的結他獨奏和實驗方法。

Rev Theory這個樂團，
Johnson個人覺得他們是比較偏向搖滾樂的風格，
金屬成分其實並不是那麼樣的明顯，
但是因為個人覺得主唱的聲音很乾淨，
聽起來很舒服，所以是不是金屬其實不是那麼的重要了。




Rev Theory的音樂，
雙吉他的配置並沒有讓他們的音樂有很突出的表現，
反而就是中規中矩的將他們的音樂展現出來，
對於新手樂迷來說，很好消化，很好吸收，
因為不偏激，亦不刺激，
但是很適合夜間一人開車的時候搖下車窗，
轉大音量，配上一支菸，
那種感覺，會很舒服。




至於Rev Theory的其他樂手，
因為雙吉他的表現並不是特別突出，
以至於相對的其他樂手也並不是那樣的突出，
但是這樣卻讓他們的音樂衝擊出一種很和諧的感覺，
各個位置的表現都很平均，
這也是這類樂團所必須的，
因為這類樂團如果有某方面的表現比較突出搶眼，
那麼這團很快就會因為理念不合而解散，
但是就目前為止，
在Rev Theory並看不到這樣的現象產生。




對於入門新手來說，
Rev Theory算是一團很好的入門團，
對於老手來說，
Rev Theory算是一團很好的放鬆團，
這樣的樂團，
