感想

Motorhead，

一支來自大英帝國的老牌樂團，

出道至今超過30年，

為重金屬樂，

寫下一段輝煌的歷史。

重金屬發源地英國，

出了許許多多的經典名團，

如Iron Maiden、Black Sabbath等，

支支嗆辣，支支經典，

也為後輩們，

留下了許許多多的經典名曲。

老牌的heavy metal樂團，

堅持著最純粹的metal精神，

最早起源於西方1960年代後期的Heavy Rock，

1970年代初的新一批樂團（Led Zeppelin , Black Sabbath , Deep Purple等）將演奏技巧加以改良，

Glam Rock潮流過後又出現了一批正式自稱重金屬音樂的樂團Judas Priest（猶太祭司）。

70年代的Punk代表樂團性手槍風波過後，

在英國的地下搖滾圈子裡突然崛起了一種新式的金屬潮流：New Wave of British Heavy Metal，

其中的主力樂團有Iron Maiden(按我) ，Def Leppard，Motorhead，Saxon……

幾乎同時，該金屬風波也引起了美國樂團的反應，

Metallica(按我) ，Megadeth(按我)，Savatage造就美國重金屬的興起。

Motorhead走過輝煌的歷史，

他們的音樂無庸置疑的就像聖經一樣，

可說是每位metal咖必敗的樂團之一，

他們的音樂，

聽了讓人很快的就可以回歸到最初的重金屬裡，

渾厚紮實的鼓聲，

令人嘆為觀止的吉他技巧及效果器使用，

老派卻又不令人厭煩的vocal，

這就是Motorhead，

這也就是我們這些metal咖所喜愛的Heavy Metal，

Helloween是一個來自德國漢堡的歐洲力量金屬樂團。

Helloween一開始的創團元老由Kai Hansen(主唱/吉他)、Michael Weikath(吉他)、

Markus Grosskopf(貝斯) 與Ingo Schwichtenberg(鼓手)組成，

1984年與Noise 唱片公司簽約，

1985年發行EPHelloween打響名號。

同年推出專輯Walls of Jericho，1986年EPJudas推出，

在巡迴演唱時找了Tyran Pace主唱Ralf Scheepers協助，

因為Ralf沒辦法長期配合，

之後Michael Kiske的加入使Keeper of the Seven Keys Part 1、 Keeper of the Seven Keys Part 2廣受歡迎，

但在 Keeper of the Seven Keys Part 2巡迴中Kai Hansen因為唱片公司、樂團等等因素離團，

找了Tyran Pace主唱Ralf Scheepers等人另組新團Gamma Ray，

吉他手由Rampage的Roland Grapow繼續接任巡迴。

在1989推出了現場專輯Live In The UK，

以1988年在歐洲巡迴的演出紀錄，

並在日本以Keepers Live之名稱和I Want Out Live之名稱在美國販售，

造成了與Noise唱片公司商標的問題，

以至於解約，之後並沒有錄製新專輯，

直到1991年出現很多有關樂團解散的謠言中，

推出了Pink Bubbles Go Ape，新東家為EMI唱片，

但這次專輯曲風沒有之前重，並轉向幽默歡樂的感覺、與史詩感的前幾張感覺不同，

因為結果不盡理想，使得團員對立浮上檯面。

1993年推出Chameleon，造成很多喜歡重金屬感覺的樂迷不滿意，

這次加入許多不同以往的曲風，但是與上次一張一樣，

成果不如預期，樂團則分成了三半，Michael Kiske與Ingo Schwichtenberg、

Michael Weikath與Roland Grapow、Markus Grosskopf則是盡力維持兩派的關係。

之後樂團面臨危機，在Chameleon巡迴之後，

Ingo Schwichtenberg因為心理疾病和藥癮離開樂團，不久後死去，

由Ritchie Abdel-Nabi入替，同時內部衝突達到極限，

Weikath拒絕和Kiske合作，並開除了Kiske，

因為從重金屬向流行靠攏是Kiske的主意，

但是Abdel-Nabi沒辦法延續Schwichtenberg的火力使得"Eagle Fly Free"和"How Many Tears"等等樂曲沒辦法完美呈現，

1993年是黑暗時期，沒有主唱、鼓手、以及唱片合約。

1994年Helloween回來了，

並加入了前Pink Cream 69主唱Andi Deris以及前Gamma Ray鼓手Uli Kusch，

推出Master of the Rings，使樂團邁向新的開始。

經過The Time of the Oath(1996),Better Than Raw(1998),Metal Jukebox(1999),The Dark Ride(2000),

在Rabbit Don't Come Easy(2003)的巡迴表演中，

找來鼓手Stefan Schwarzmann代打，

Stefan Schwarzmann在巡迴之後表示要退出但是還是待到樂團找到替代的人選，

2005年前RAWHEAD REXX 鼓手Daniel Loble加入並繼續之後的樂團運作。

感想

Helloween，

一支來自重金屬國度德國，

無人不知無人不曉的力金樂團，

許多樂團皆受到他們的影響，

他們在重金屬樂壇界的影響力及地位，

可想而知。

早期，

Helloween被翻譯成”海洛因樂團”，

除了台灣一貫的喜歡把英文的念法直譯外，

另外也暗喻聽Helloween的音樂，

就像吸食海洛因毒品一樣，

一聽就上癮，

越聽會越過癮，

會讓人無法戒掉他們的音樂，

Johnson的好友Lance Wang就是一個非常好的例子。

跟很多老牌重金屬樂團一樣，

Helloween從一開始的走紅，

到中期歷經一段黑暗的沉淪時期，

到後來又再度走紅，

這樣的老牌重金屬樂團，

通常都是因為樂團中樂手的音樂造詣都很高，

且對各自的音樂理念都比較有個人意識，

所以當樂團到達一定的程度時，

各樂手都會希望樂團能夠將自己的音樂理念給發揚光大，

但是這樣的結果，

常常造成一個樂團的分裂，

Helloween亦是如此，

攤開他們的歷任樂手，

皆是赫赫有名的樂手，

離開Helloween以後，

不論是自行重組樂團，

或是加入其他樂團，

對該樂團都會有很大的影響力，

例如Gamma Ray就是由創團元老的主唱離團後另組的一個德國力金大團，

與Helloween相庭抗衡。

Helloween他們的音樂，

是很傳統的力金，

就算是後期的音樂，

雖然有一些歌曲開始改變風格，

但是大部分的歌曲，

都還是保有很傳統的歐力元素在裡面，

先前有提過，

世界上主要的力金團，

都是歐力，

原因除了在於力金的發源地在歐洲以外，

另外的一個很重要的原因就是，

力量金屬本來就是以速金為基礎衍生出來的種類，

但是美力卻在其中加入了大量的鞭金，

導致力量金屬的元素不容易被發現。

Helloween的音樂，

在樂曲編排上，

只要是在樂團裡的兩位吉他手，

實力一定都有上乘的水準，

所以不論是早期的，

還是中後期的歌，

在吉他上的感覺並沒有太大的落差，

力金另外一樣很重要的樂器，

就是鼓，

Helloween的鼓手，

都有一個一貫的風格，

就是力度夠，

且速度跟得上樂曲的節奏，

所以為甚麼他們可以歷久不衰的原因就是這樣，

他們的樂手都有很好的水準，

所以就算他們不斷的在更換團員，

但是還是可以有高水準的作品。

要說Helloween是歐洲力金的始祖，

其實一點也不為過，

因為幾乎所有大團的團員，

都曾經是Helloween的前任團員，

或是帶有很濃的Helloween的影子，

Johnson認為，

聽力金，

就要聽歐力，

要聽歐力，

就不能錯過Helloween。

Iron Maiden（鐵娘子，或譯為鐵處女）是一個出身於英國東倫敦的重金屬樂團，

由原Gypsy's Kiss（吉普賽之吻樂團）與Smiler（微笑者樂團）的貝斯手Steve Harris（史提夫·哈里斯）於1975年成立。

鐵娘子是重金屬樂界最成功與最具影響力的樂團之一，在全世界已經累積銷售八千萬張專輯。

2002年該團獲頒艾佛·諾維洛獎（Ivor Novello Awards）的國際成就獎。

該團成立以來在許多主要音樂活動中都曾擔任主場，例如Rock in Rio（里約搖滾音樂節）、

與Black Sabbath共同演出的Ozzfest（奧茲音樂節）、

於Donington Park（多寧頓公園）舉辦的Monsters of Rock（搖滾怪獸音樂節）、

雖然鐵娘子是一個受到Deep Purple與Thin Lizzy影響的重金屬樂團，

但是因為前主唱Paul Di'Anno的關係，

鐵娘子的吉祥物Eddie是一個經常出現在專輯封面以及演唱會現場的恐怖東西。

在1992年以前，Eddie一直是由德瑞·克雷格斯所畫，其間也曾有不同風格的畫家如梅爾文·格蘭特（Melvyn Grant）設計過各種分身。

Eddie也曾出現在以該團成員為主角的第一人稱射擊遊戲《艾德獵人》（ED Hunter），

感想

Iron Maiden，

一個經典到不能在經典的重金屬樂團，

聽重金屬的人，

如果跟別人說你不知道Iron Maiden，

那麼恐怕別人會笑你是偽金屬咖。

與Black Sabbath同樣，

Iron Maiden在重金屬界的地位，

是不容忽視的，

許多後輩團體，

都受到Iron Maiden的深遠影響，

因為他們所詮釋的，

就是那種最基本的heavy metal，

也是所有metal分類的源頭，

在那遙遠的70年代，

Iron Maiden為這種樂風，

開啟了一條光明大道。

當時英國興起了一股英國重金屬新浪潮（New Wave of British Heavy Metal），

主力的樂團之一就是Iron Maiden，

也影響了美國的樂團音樂，

Metallica、Megadeth等知名大團造就了美國重金屬音樂的興起。

為什麼Iron Maiden會是經典團，

原因不只是在於它是重金屬音樂開始時的樂團之一，

而是在於他們對於重金屬界所帶來的深遠影響，

多少人因為他們的音樂，

而踏入了重金屬的領域，

多少人因為他們的音樂，

走進了重金屬的世界，

多少人因為他們的音樂，

拿起了樂器去開創屬於他們自己的音樂之路，

因為這樣，
