樂團BIO

那天是1692年六月七日，地點是在牙買加的皇家港口，

那是牙買加最大的國際進出口貿易中心，

一場極大的地震摧毀了港口四周的堤防，

導致了一場致命的洪水災害，淹沒了整個城市的三分之二，

一半以上的人口慘遭面對死亡的命運。





當地的生還者稱這場災害是 "上帝的旨意"，

因為這城市充滿了罪孽，

直到今日，這場大地震發生的主要原因，

是來自於四位蘇格蘭海盜在一艘稱為 "The Alestorm" 的海盜船上狂歡，

這四位海盜為主唱/鍵盤手 Christopher Bowes、吉他手 Gavin Harper、

貝斯手 Dani Evans、鼓手Ian Wilson，

他們發出的巨響波動了加勒比外海形成了一股致命的風浪，

摧毀了方圓幾百英里的所有建築物。





這支來自蘇格蘭的海盜金屬樂團成立於2007年，

由於主唱兼鍵盤手 Christopher Bowes熱忠於加勒比海盜、探險的故事，

號招了其他三位團員一起行駛於重金屬的樂海之中，

編寫了一篇在大海中橫奪財寶的歷險故事 ，

並運用交響樂、民族風、戲劇式的唱法融入於重金屬音樂中，

除了傳統的速度金屬，大量的鍵盤交響編制、民族風情的小調旋律、

奔放隨性的吉他與鍵盤的對位獨奏、

戲劇性的唱腔完完全全的體驗出海盜們在探險旅途中飲酒作樂、

爭奪寶藏的喜樂與苦難！

感想

Alestorm，

來自英國的海盜樂團，

讓這個自古以來海軍與海盜對立的戲碼，

在現在這個文明世紀裡，

繼續上演。





民謠金屬是在重金屬樂之中，

加入了民族代表性樂器，

例如口風琴，嗩吶，手風琴，小提琴等等之類的樂器，

此種樂風發展於90年代初期，

通常這類的金屬樂，

都會比較歡樂，

原因在於使用的民族樂器的關係，

當然也有比較偏向黑金屬的民謠金，

這類的樂團在東歐國家比較常見。





民謠金Johnson個人把他分類成為以下幾個分類，

維京金屬：又或稱海盜金屬，在金屬樂中加入了維京人的歷史故事，或是海盜在海上奪寶的傳奇故事，

民謠黑金：本質為黑金屬，但因為地區民族性，在黑金屬之中加入該地區代表性的民族樂器，讓黑金屬樂帶有民族色彩，

東方民謠金：此種分類為東方國家特有，在金屬樂中加入了例如嗩吶等比較傳統的民族性樂器，造成衝突性的觀感，

戰爭金屬：主要是敘述民族性戰爭的金屬分類，音樂之中通常會讓人感覺到聲勢浩大，戰勝國的喜悅，以及戰敗國的落寞，

這些，都是所謂的民謠金屬，

民謠金的發展從90年帶的初期，

從歐洲開始，

慢慢的延伸到了中東地區，

到現在甚至已經延伸到了全世界。




Alestorm這個樂團，

帶有很重的海盜風，

整個樂團的主軸也是以海盜的風格為主，

不論在詞曲上，

音樂的編曲上面，

以致於樂手的穿著，

無一不入海盜的格局，

此樂團的主唱，

也是keyboard手，

很明顯的可以感覺出來在歌曲的編排上，

keyboard的比重佔了很大的成分，

他們因為是四人樂團，

所以相對的他們的樂手要有一定的水準，

才有辦法支撐起他們的音樂，

他們的樂手，在吉他部份，

單吉他的配置，對於民謠金來說，

是有些吃力，

但是Alestorm的吉他手，

雖然年輕，但並不含糊，

速彈的部份單音皆屬於乾淨的，

並不會因為追求速度而黏在一起，

而和弦的部份，

則兼具了旋律性。

貝斯手的部份，

在樂曲低音的部份，

佔有了決定性的腳色，

或許在一般聽眾聽起來，

並不會有很明顯的差別，

但是只要注意的去聽的話，

其實貝斯手的速度，

並不亞於吉他手，

鼓手的部份，

雙踏沉穩，

速度也兼具，

就年輕的樂手來說，

他們的技術算是相當不錯的。





身於現今世紀的我們，

或許對於海盜並不了解，

可能就只能從神鬼奇航電影之中，

了解海盜的習性，

跟他們奪寶尋寶的冒險，

但是對於Alestorm來說，

他們為我們重新呈現了中世紀的海盜景象，

重現了Soul Of Pirates。
