樂團BIO

不僅宣洩屬於美派硬幫Metalcore狂妄氣流，

更拼貼濃烈Screamo、Modern Rock的強震音場，

加上雙主唱特色編制，

2008年於瑞典最著名電台所設置Bandit Rock Awards典禮上，

風光抱走「最佳新人」、2010年「最佳瑞典樂團」肯定的Sonic Syndicate，

同時深受日本地域的歡迎，

以及美國佬的喜愛，

衝入Billboard排行之林，掙得一席地位。











就在In Flames、Soilwork陸續打出知名度後，

原名Fallen Angels的Sonic Syndicate緊接這股優勢搶灘成功；

以雙吉他手Robin和Roger、主唱Richard等三位Sjunnesson兄弟所建立，

外加美艷女貝斯手Karin Axelsson、鼓手John Bengtsson，

和另一主唱Roland Johansson共組成軍。











2007年與Nuclear Blast簽下合約，

發行「Only Inhuman」專輯，

其中"Denied"成為MTV Headbanger’s Ball最受樂迷歡迎歌曲之一，

而翻唱鬧出性向疑雲的女子雙人組t.A.T.u代表"All About Us"猛烈金屬版，

則讓大家都留下深刻印象，

添加更多現代元素趁勝追擊的「Love And Other Disasters」，

更是成功攻佔主流市場，贏取國際樂壇的一致好評，

迅速風靡了青少年搖滾族群。











換上光頭型男主唱Nathan James Biggs後，

找來曾為Metallica、Slayer、Korn幕後操刀的製作/混音大師Toby Wright，

掌舵第四張新輯「We Rule The Night」，

率先拿下瑞典Top13、德國NO.22、芬蘭第29名優秀成績！

感想



Sonic Syndicate，

一支新興的metalcore樂團，

在這個金屬充斥的國度，

帶起一股新的勢力。







現在的樂迷，

很多都會認為metalcore就是metal，

但其實不然，

METALCORE可以說是金屬音樂和龐克音樂的融合体，

簡單的來說就是該樂風的歌曲中可以聽到金屬音樂及硬蕊龐克（HARDCORE PUNK）的結合，

二種不同類型音樂元素的結合創造了更多聽起來不同面向且豐富的歌曲，

舉例來說一首歌的作詞作曲及唱腔可能是偏向HARDCORE PUNK，

但編曲及演奏方面又加了許多金屬音樂的特性及華麗的技巧，

現在世界上有相當多的樂團玩的就是所謂的METALCORE或PUNK METAL。







所以我常說，

metalcore是為了讓一些對於metal還不太能夠接受的樂迷們，

初步了解what is metal的最好途徑，

因為他有metal的元素存在，

但是在音樂上又不是那麼樣的具有強大衝擊性，

強大到讓人難以一時接受，

但是絕對絕對不要認為，

metalcore = metal。





Sonic Syndicate這支樂團，

他們的樂曲部分，

編排的有很多歌曲是偏向morden rock，

但是並不會不好聽，

有很多玩metalcore的樂團，

唱起抒情歌，

整個就是掉漆，

但是Sonic Syndicate算是打破了Johnson的眼鏡(雖然我沒戴眼鏡)，

而他們在快歌的部分，

由於雙主唱的緣故，

清腔與metalcore的部分各有很鮮明的特色，

metalcore的部分，

Johnson個人覺得有點類似曼森的唱法，

而光頭清腔主唱，

聲音算是有power的類型。









Sonic Syndicate另外一個亮點，

應該就屬Bass手Karin Axelsson了，

樂團中有美艷的樂手通常都會吸引一些血氣方剛的男性的目光，

但是就Johnson個人的看法，

Karin Axelsson並不只是支花瓶而已，

雖然技巧部分並不是很高超，

但是配上樂團的歌曲，

卻是剛剛好，

不突出，

但也不會讓人覺得在bass的部分有不足的感覺。







Johnson常會跟想要接觸metal的人說，

除非你有最好心理準備，

或是你能夠接受的衝擊性夠強，

不然不要任意的去嘗試集端金屬，

因為那很有可能會讓你對metal失去興趣，

每一種興趣或是音樂都是如此，

由淺而深，

循序漸進才會聽得長久，

而metalcore會是開啟你metal之路一個很好的選擇。
