1988年美國鍵盤魔尊Gregg Giuffria(Angel)和貝斯巨匠Chuck Wright (Quiet Riot)、夥同雷霆鼓手Ken Mary(Alice Cooper)、
吉他大師Lanny Cordola(Tamplin)，
及著名歌手James Christian一起組成House Of Lord，
HOL受到Kiss貝斯手Gene Simmons的矚目，
將之簽至旗下Simmons Records。
1989年處女作"House Of Lord"發表，
由Led Zeppelin、Rolling Stones製作人，
Andy Johns擔綱製作大任，
這張大碟被評為八零年代最佳搖滾專輯之一，
他們也被喻為Whitesnake、Deep Purple、Van Halen的接班人。
之後Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake、Dio、Hurricane、
Bad Moon Rising)，取代Lanny Cordola擔任吉他手，
於1990年出版第二張作品"Sahara"。
1992年第三張專輯"Demon’s Dawn"發表之後樂團暫告解散，直到2000年以原始陣容重組，
並於2004年發表第四張作品"Power And The Myth"。
2005年新血Jeff Kent(貝斯手)、Jimi Belt(吉他手)、
B.J Zampa(鼓手)加入HOL，
於2006年推出第五張專輯"World Upside Down"，
之後貝斯手由Chris McCarvil接任，經過兩年製作，"Come To My Kingdom"於2008年五月問世，
2011年製作了最新大碟Big Money。

感想
House of Lords，來自美國洛杉磯的搖滾樂團，
帶有濃濃的80年代風味，
讓喜愛搖滾樂的人回味無窮!!
濃濃的搖滾風，帶點嘶吼的唱腔，
這就是House of Lords的音樂，
沒有太多的華麗技巧，
但是在樂曲之中，每一種技巧卻都那樣的純熟以及精湛，
不花俏的技術，
在House of Lords的音樂之中，
嶄露無遺。
House of Lords的吉他，solo部分，
運用了不少的泛音點弦的技巧，
貝斯以及keyboard的部分，
算是很穩定的表現，
並不突出，
單大鼓的編制，
則是讓我們感到濃濃的80年代美式風格，
或許也是因為如此，
讓喜愛搖滾的人，
對他們無法抗拒。
House of Lords這支樂團，他們並不突出，
但是在不突出的表現之中，
卻可以讓我們感覺到非常舒服的音樂享受，
對於喜愛搖滾樂的人，
值得推薦。
