Siebenburgen是德文Transylvania(特蘭西瓦尼亞)，
意為七座城市，也是傳說中位於羅馬尼亞的吸血鬼德古拉故鄉；
來自瑞典的Melodic Black/Gothic Metal樂團Siebenburgen，
在音樂中完美將吸血鬼殘暴美學的迷人特性表露無疑。
由Marcus Ehlin(主唱/吉他)和Anders Rosdahl(鼓)兩人於1994年所組成的Siebenburgen，
在Fredrik Brockert(貝斯)、Linus Ekstrom(吉他)，
和Lovisa Hallstedt(小提琴/女聲)的加入下開始著手Demo帶的錄製，
並於兩年後的萬聖節正式亮相。
隨即展開多場的Live演出，在獨立廠牌收音、整理的幫忙下發行EP「Siebenburgen Live」；
因在地下圈中廣為流傳，
讓樂團受到奧地利名廠Napalm Records的賞識攬至旗下。
97年首張專輯「Loreia」問世，
Siebenburgen受邀加入Forbidden Site和Menhir的歐洲巡迴，
人氣直線上升！
很快的在隔年發表第二作「Grimjaur」，
又與Atanatos及Ragnarok合作展開另一次的演出，
定下Siebenburgen往後紮實且豐富的音樂基礎。
千禧年Marcus為了能更專心主唱的職位，
邀請Richard Bryngelsson入團擔任吉他手，
成為往後專輯的最佳合作夥伴，
卻也因為參與創作的人數增多讓團員間產生意見分歧的不合因素，
導致樂團情況岌岌可危，
在2005年推出「Darker Designs & Images」後即宣告解散。
沉睡三年後，2008年Siebenburgen居然奇蹟般的甦醒，
並帶來全新惡魔詩篇「Revelation VI 」，
以Lisa (女聲)、Marcus (主唱/貝斯)、Dennis(鼓)、
Richard(吉他)、Johnnie(鍵盤)、Joakim(吉他)等全新陣容再度降臨人間！

感想
Siebenburgen，
來自瑞典的旋律黑金團，
身處在旋律死金的國度，
卻以旋律黑金在樂壇中發光。
黑金的歌曲內容大致上可分為幾種，
一是描述人心黑暗層面，
二是描寫社會陰暗面，
三則是描寫一些怪力亂神，
西方社會裡，
大概就屬吸血鬼以及狼人最常被拿來當作電影以及音樂的內容題材，
而Siebenburgen就是其中之一，
團名本身就是吸血鬼德古拉的英文翻譯，
歌曲的內容自然也就跟吸血鬼離不開關係，
但是相較於Cradle of Filth卻是不一樣的風格。
樂曲中沉重的節奏感，
讓人一開始就可以深刻的感覺到黑金的力量，
雙踏的重節奏鼓聲，
將人帶入黑暗的深淵，
雙吉他狂暴的刷扣，
那股沉重的氣息，
隨著和弦傳送出來，
雖說他們的吉他並不是快速的類型，
但是黑金說實在話，
並不一定很要求速度，
重點是要讓人感覺到黑暗才是主要的，
這點Siebenburgen倒是做的還算不錯。
另外一項可取的是，
雖然在Siebenburgen MV之中，
幾乎可說看不到樂手的身影，
幾乎都是以故事或是電影的片段呈現，
但是他們的MV說實在話，
配上音樂看時，
真的還滿有感覺的，
有一種吸血鬼黑金獨特的風格存在，
雖然個人還是比較喜歡Cradle of Filth的拍攝風格，
但是Siebenburgen的 MV也另有一番風格。
