Sister Sin樂團成立於2002年，並且被瑞典當地的唱片公司給簽下，
並於隔年發行了第一張專輯，
於2008年10月，
轉投入了Victory Records的旗下。
在轉入Victory的旗下之後，Sister Sin開始參加許多大型的音樂巡迴，
2010年先是與Lordi參加了歐洲巡迴，
後來又在美國，
分別與 Straight Line Stitch, System Divide 和 In This Moment，
以及 Blackguard, Destrophy 和 Otep，
參加了不同的兩個巡迴演出。
2011年Sister Sin在歐洲的巡演，找來了U.D.O作為他們的嘉賓，
並於2012年10月23日發行了他們的第四張專輯。

感想
Sister Sin，來自瑞典的女聲重金屬樂團，
新穎中又不失傳統的編曲，
搭配上渾圓有力的女聲，
讓他們在重金屬界，
闖出了一片天。
女聲，在重金屬樂壇中，
多數為歌德金的主唱，
少數為死金或黑金的主唱，
所以對於這幾種分類的女主唱，
相信樂迷們其實已經聽得有些膩了，
但是也有越來越多的女主唱樂團，
開始走傳統的重金屬路線，
她們所屬的樂團，
有些是因為她們本身的聲線屬於比較渾厚的聲線，
適合唱純重金屬的歌曲，
有些是因為樂團本身的編曲樂風，
但是鮮少有兩者兼具的樂團，
Sister Sin就是這樣的一個樂團。
有女主唱的樂團，一般來說編曲會考慮女聲的音域較高，
所以在編曲上會盡量減少過低音域的編排，
例如Nightwish的編曲，
從早期到現在，
編曲的部分都屬於音域較高，
但像是Arch Enemy就是屬於例外的= =，
Sister Sin的女主唱，
她的低音渾厚有力，
配合上樂團的編曲，
儼然就是一個完美的搭配。
但是再好的樂團，都還是會有缺點，
女主唱她的高音部分稍嫌弱了一些些，
應該是說，
因為她的聲線屬於比較厚實的，
所以基本上不會使用到假音的高音部分，
她的高音在Johnson聽來，
還是真音的高音，
那說真的，音域並不會高到哪邊去，
但是他的這種高音，
是屬於Johnson喜愛的那種高音，
非常的有嘶吼感。
Sister Sin他們的編曲，屬於有新式的重金屬編曲方式，
依循傳統重金屬的精神，
在編曲上面做新的變化以及嘗試，
和絃的部份穩定性還不錯，
solo雖然不快，
但是融合了很多不同的技巧於其中，
讓人聽得倒也是很爽，
鼓的部分，
因為編曲上不需要用到雙大鼓，
所以他們的鼓，屬於傳統單大鼓的配置，
但是鼓的技巧並不遜於雙大鼓，
在他們的歌曲之中，
偶爾貝斯手會穿插男聲的部分，
變成另類的雙主唱。
Sister Sin成立至今也有11年的歷史了，但是他們還是屬於很稚嫩的樂團，
還有很多地方可以發展以及進步，
