樂團BIO

Atrocity在1985年成立於德國的路德維希堡(Ludwigsburg)，

目前的陣容為主唱兼團長Alexander Krull、

吉他手Thorsten Bauer與Mathias Roderer、

貝斯手Alla Fedynitch、

和鼓手Nicholas Barker ，

其音樂風格融合了歌德、巴落克式交響元素于極端金屬的根基之中，

就音樂的多元化、自主性加上不斷的嘗試與突破，

Atrocity在重金屬樂壇中成為一支使人注目的樂團。






Atrocity高深莫測的創作風格實在會讓人對下一張專輯有至高的期待，

早期的Atrocity運用了歌劇式唱腔與古典室內音樂的元素，

以輾核的極端性質為根基，混合出一種讓人難以分類的自我分格，

中期則以Dark Wave異教電子的黑暗歌德元素為主，

這段時期Atrocity不僅表現出多元化的創作層面，

也攻佔了另一種音樂領域，

獲得許多黑黯電子樂迷的青睞，

而2004年Atrocity再次回歸到極端金屬的擁抱。

感想

Atrocity，

一支來自德國的金屬樂團，

從早期的技術死金，

到晚期的工業金屬，

前後的差異可說是非常之大。




Technical Death Metal，技術死金，

基於鞭金以及死亡金屬，前衛金屬等等曲風演變而來，

技術，代表的即是樂手的技術，

鼓手雙踏拆點，切分音，變拍，

Blast Beat，各種高難度技巧

吉他/貝斯手，掃弦，點弦，變拍，

融入前衛金屬編曲複雜度，

喜歡加入各種元素，爵士，古典，世界，宗教等等音樂。




Industrial Metal，工業金屬，

是工業音樂中的工業搖滾所衍生出的曲風，

是重金屬的其中一個分支的金屬派風，

此樂風最主要的樂器搭配和團員配置，

不外乎就是主唱、電吉他、貝斯、爵士鼓，

當然也會搭配一些電子的元素，

所以會有些MIDI音效的搭配如:音序器(sequencers)、取樣器或合成器……等。





Atrocity這個樂團，

對於Johnson來說，

並不是屬於Johnson喜歡的類型，

前期的技術死金部分，

並不是非常純的技術死金，

後期的工業金，

電子的部分，

並沒有非常明顯的呈現，

其實個人覺得，

他們的後期，

變得比較像是一般的重金屬樂團，

說真的其實滿可惜的。






主唱的聲線，

並不屬於厚實的種類，

雖說也不屬於細聲，

但是總是感覺少了些甚麼，

至於吉他的部分，

chors的部分算是有到達水準之上，

但可惜的是solo的部分，

並不會讓人感覺到早期是玩技術死金的感覺，

鼓聲部分，

並沒有在音樂之中，

讓人聽出很明顯的高超技術，

但是基本功算是還不錯的。





Atrocity有一個特色，

他們的MV都拍得頗有意境，

或許是因為是德國團的緣故，

在詮釋某些歌曲上面，

想要讓人感覺到歌曲所想要表達的意境，

做得道是非常的不錯，

在團員的編制中，

除了原本的五名樂手之外，

另外還有兩名辣妹舞者，

在他們的現場表演或是MV之中，

也都會隨著樂團一起演出。





如果以技術死金或是工業金屬來說，

Atrocity都不能算是及格的樂團，

但是如果聽者只將他們當作一個重金屬樂團來聽，

他們的音樂，

或多或少還是有可聽之處的。
