Joan Jett，是美國著名藝人，
知名搖滾吉他手兼主唱、作詞家、作曲家、唱片製作人與女演員。
她最受人注目就是她的樂隊Joan Jett & the Blackhearts，
而她著名的歌曲包括《I Love Rock 'n' Roll》、《Crimson and Clover》、
《I Hate Myself for Loving You》、《Do You Wanna Touch Me》、
《Light of Day》、《Love Is All Around》和《Bad Reputation》。
當中歌曲《I Love Rock 'n' Roll》，
並曾在1982年3月20日至同年5月1日期間登上告示牌百強單曲榜的榜首。
而傑特並有三張專輯擁有RIAA認證，
同時她並是一個女權主義者。

感想
樂團很多寫不完，
但是樂手更多更需要介紹讓大家知道，
因為，如果沒有這些偉大的樂手，
世界上哪會有這麼多偉大的樂團讓我們去欣賞呢，
所以Dark J從這個月開始，
將會不定期的在樂團文中穿插樂手的介紹文，
當然，甚麼時候會寫，不一定，會寫誰，也沒有一定，
一切看J當時的心情是怎麼樣決定囉!!
說到女樂手，
Joan Jett可能在不少人的印象中，
並不如Tarja、Floor、Amy Lee等新生代的歌手或樂手那麼印象深刻，
但是對於喜愛80'搖滾的人絕對對於她的歌曲，耳熟能詳，
舉凡像是 I love Rock N Roll、Hate myself of lovin' you等等，
大家一定都聽過還可以哼上兩句，
這就是80'年代搖滾的魅力。
要怎麼樣形容Joan Jett呢?
不如說她是個比男人更man的女人吧，
性別對於她來說，只是個代名詞，
在那個女性樂手並不吃香的年代，
她卻用她的剛毅態度，
組成了The Runaways，
樂團的故事，後來還被拍成了電影，
雖然她在美國組成了樂團，
但是在美國本土卻沒有很大的商業成就，
講白一點，就是銷售量不佳，
但很意外的，卻在日本大受歡迎，
而且很有趣的一點，
Joan Jett的樂團雖然在主流市場並不受到歡迎，
但是卻在洛杉磯的龐克圈及硬搖圈裡十分吃香。
1978年樂團解散之後，
The Runaways的團員們各自都另組了樂團，
但是就屬Joan Jett & The Blackhearts 最為成功，
Joan Jett對於音樂擁有一種超乎常人的執著感，
並且散發出只要音樂，其他得麼都不要的氛圍。
鋼鐵般意志的女人，
這是我現階段想到可以解讀Joan Jett的說法，
現年52歲的她，
據說還是活躍在這個圈子裡面，
或許已經不像年輕時期那樣的受人矚目，
但是她卻用她自己的方式跟對於音樂的熱忱，
繼續她的音樂生命。
